Collaboration between risk practitioners is critical to support an effective risk response to this crisis.

The rapid global developments of COVID-19 are creating greatly elevated levels of disruption from both a human and economic perspective and unprecedented levels of uncertainty on a global, political, business and personal level.

This has resulted in heightened levels of risk exposures for organisations in every industry segment and government globally. These range from the direct health and safety risks of our employees, third parties and society as well as indirect risk exposures resulting from the responses in dealing with COVID-19 such as increased risk of cyber attacks due to employees working from home.

As risk management professionals we are passionate about the positive role risk management can and should play in the management of COVID-19 and its related risks. It is therefore critical that risk management practitioners collaborate at the local and global level to support their entiiy's effective risk response to this crisis.

This webinar series is aimed at connecting like-minded risk management professionals to share ideas and aim at identifying and sharing what “good practice” looks like as this pandemic unfolds.

Each session has a duration of approximately 60 minutes, and all the topics were recorded live during April and May 2020, following this agenda:

  1. A pragmatic analysis of the COVID-19 risks including interconnections with other risks
  2. An analysis of COVID-19 risk treatments and controls
  3. Risk Management techniques and processes to manage COVID-19 risks
  4. Effective COVID-19 risk governance, reporting and communication
  5. Practical demonstration of ERM processes applied to COVID-19 using Protecht.ERM
  6. Recovering from COVID-19. Thriving not just surviving
  7. Identifying effective KRIs for monitoring operational risks
